Residents of Gwira Asonti in the Nzema municipality are calling on the government of Ghana and the municipal assembly to their life easier by grading roads within the area.
Residents of Gwira in the Nzema municipality of the western of Ghana can't boost even one inch of bitumen road and Gwira Asonti is no exception.
According to some Of the residents, the bad nature of the road is really making life very difficult and are unable to breath due to the dusty nature of the road. Some drivers and residents who spoke said " due to the bad nature of the road most vehicles have stopped plying their road and their only means of transportation has been by foot or uses of motorbikes which is also expensive". They further called on the government and municipal assembly to grade the road before the rainy season sets in.
Nana Awauh II, chief of Asonti also added his voice by calling on cocoa board to help shape the road to enable farmers to grow more cocoa for the country.
