Monday 2nd of May, 2020 has been declared Public holiday for Ghanaians.
This letter was issued to address the attention of the general public to notice and observe such an important information.
Every 1st May marks Workers Day, however, this year workers Day will fall on Sunday and base on that, the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo by the power vested in him and the Executive Instrument(E.I) with Section 2 of the Public Holidays and Commerative Days Act, (Act 601) declares Monday 2nd May, 2022 as Public Holiday.
This letter was issued on 25th April, 2022 from the Ministry of Interior office and signed by the Interior Minister Ambrose Dery.
