Practices that encourage corruptions in every country should be stopped and defined ways and punishments that can help deal with corrupt activities should rather be enforce to help solve this deadly act called corruption.
In Ghana almost every single day people talk about corruption practices in the country and how to solve them. This is no longer news besides in every country there are corrupt practices and no one can say that Ghana is an exception.
The fact that corruption in Ghana is very real made the current President to establish a new agency or office called special prosecutor that will look into corrupt practices and punish or prosecute those that are found to be guilty.
This step made by the President shows how dedicated he is to fight corruption in the country. And Ghanaians hope that people who corrupt are dealt with immediately and urgently.
And this has made a caller on Joy 99.7 FM to talk about what he feels these corrupt people should be dealt with. The FM station was discussing about the topic, "Fighting Corruption" and listeners are asked of their opinion. And that made one caller to tell them and tell Ghanaians that, "We should name and shame corrupt people so their children will know what they are doing for a living."
Joy 99.7 FM posted what the caller said when he or she called them.
This idea from the caller can be said to be a nice way to punish them but does the law of the land state what the caller said? If it doesn't then it can not be used but if it is then it can be used.
What do you think about this caller's way of ending corruption in Ghana?
