A horrifying news reaching us from Asante Akyem Adumasa indicates that, the man who had allegedly murdered his wife has reportedly committed suicide. According to two witnesses, the man was found dead in a river.
From the witnesses, the man is believed to have poisoned himself after the dreadful act of killing his wife. They said that, he had struggled through the bush into the river.
When asked about the possible cause of this gruesome incidence, the two witnesses who are also habitats of the town said that, the couple had not taken it easy with other.According to one of the children of the couple, his father on the Saturday morning in the farm furiously asked the whereabout of his mother.However, he couldn’t tell him and so his father left.It was after this that his wife went missing. Later on, she was found after about two days lying dead in a pool of blood. It was after she found that his husband too was found dead.
The late couple hailed from Asante Akyem Adumasa and had eight children of which two had passed on. The eldest who is eighteen years of age is in the Senior High School whiles the youngest is four years.
