The news reaching the desk of TheProgrammeNews is that Josephine Panyin Mensah has confessed the truth to the police and the medical practioners at Efiankwanta Regional Hospital that she was not pregnant. This news was released by Empire FM in Takoradi.
According to the police who released this vital information to the radio station, he said the woman confessed whilst crying and asking for forgiveness as his husband looked very surprised upon hearing it.
The source again revealed that during the preliminary investigation the doctors noticed that she might be suffering from pseudocyesis. Pseudocyesis is a false believe that one is pregnant where as the person might not be. This may cause abdominal enlargement, reduced menstrual flow and give you symptoms just like being pregnant.
Dr Joseph Tambil, the Medical Director of the facility told Empire FM, that they will release the medical report to the police on Monday.
