An unfortunate incident has happened today when a mob managed to take the life of a young man suspected to be a thief.
The incident happened at Kokompe in Sekondi Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana.
According to eyewitnesses, the deceased whose name is yet to be identified was beaten to death for stealing a car fuel tank at the location where he was killed.
Kokompe is well known for the servicing and sale of the part of cars where all drivers turn to.
"Spare parts have been missing consistently here and to be honest, all workers and dealers have been on alert for a very long time."
They have vowed to deal with anyone who comes around to steal and this I think is a clear case steady for the other thieves." An eye witness narrated.
From what I gathered, thieves might not be taken to the police station when they are caught as they are often released.
