There are a lot of tragic incidents that have happened in Ghana and we can’t forget. One that Ghanaians could forget about the date but not the actual incident was Denkyira-Obuasi where a military officer was lynched to death.
On 29th May 2017 an army officer called Major Captain Maxwell Mahama was lynched to death at Dekyira Obuasi on his duty of fighting against illegal mining in the area (galamsey).
The case is still at the court and yesterday saw another hearing on those who were arrested in connection with the killing.
Major Maxwell Mahama left behind a beautiful wife called Barbara Mahama and two children. It will be sad how a wife will take this sad news after seeing pictures of her husband circulating on all social media platforms. Though inevitable and it is a phase in life everyone will undergo at some point in life. Sometimes it becomes so painful the way people left their loved ones but in all, we have to let them rest in peace.
Barbara is now the CEO of a fashion design brand called Signature Fashion House and the Kindle Ghana foundation. The firm has been partaking in fashion shows, exhibition shows and won severe awards.
