Why Kofi Adoma Thinks Galamsey Equipment Should Not Be Burnt

Kofi Adoma who is the host of a morning program on Angel TV program titled "Anopa Bofo" which shows every morning from Monday to Friday has indicated his reasons as to why the galamsey equipment should not be burnt by the government.

The host of Anopa Bofo on Angel TV stated that these machineries and equipment are very expensive with some selling at four million cedis, he said the government could divert the equipment into the country's name and make them national assets which can be used to construct roads or a proper facelift of the country's road.

Kofi Adoma even quizzes that, maybe the government doesn't want these Equipment to go missing like the first ones. With this he cited that the machines could be kept at the soldiers barracks and they will be quite safer than the previous.

He further stated, there are some equipments which are burnt on water bodies and in some cases forest reserves and which have to be towed or move from such areas, since the scraps cannot be left there, this also will cost the country huge sums of money to do that.

According to him the best means to have done this is to cease them for use by the government, they could be distributed to Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies across the country.
