Twene Jonas is no where near stopping his verbal attacks on leaders of the country, as according to him, he will continue until the leaders do the right thing.
In a video sighted on Facebook from his page, he blasted the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), James Oppong-Boanuh over his statements made weeks ago over the security issues in Ghana.
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), James Oppong-Boanuh had stated that, despite the alarming rate of insecurity in the country, citizens should be modest in their expectations from the police, as according to him, several developed countries including the United States of America, United Kingdom are still battling with cases of robbery. Therefore, the recent spate of crime in the country, however alarming, is not peculiar to Ghana.
“We are doing what we can to protect the people of Ghana. There is no society in the world where there is no crime. Even in the USA, UK and Sweden, where they, more or less have everything, they still have crime. The only place that doesn’t have crime is heaven and we are not in heaven,” he had said.
Twene Jonas, using insults, even first debunked the assertion that, there are rampant robberies in the USA also, insisting that, every place has CCTV instalments and because the system is working, there is barely any incident of such reported armed robberies.
Twene Jonas, also questioned if the IGP, has once worked in Heaven or have travelled there before, as his assertion that, there is no crime in heaven, according to him, is ridiculous and speculative. Twene Jonas, who has severally indicated that, he does not believe in heaven or spirituality, calling such things as superstitious beliefs, which are baseless.
He warned the IGP, to rather be measured in his opinions, as he is a leader of the entire Police Service, and his words, especially when the late Emmanuel Osei, a member of the force had been murdered, were unfortunate and unnecessary.
In the video found here at Facebook, where he was just walking about, talking and sipping on a drink, he challenged anyone who had any instances, where rampant armed robberies exists in parts of America, as it is in Ghana, should come forward and confront him with the facts, for a cool reward price of $10,000, something some of his followers alleged was just for saying sake, as he does not have such an amount.
