In an official press statement titled “REAPPEARANCE OF MISSING PREGNANT WOMAN AT TAKORADI IN THE WESTERN REGION” has been released by Ghana police service today and it declares Josephine Payin Mensah as a suspect in her own kidnapp.
Ongoing interrogations by Western Region police service has revealed that the European hospital in Takoradi she mentioned as her antenatal hospital has report that Josephine Payin Mensah visited the hospital somewhere in October without a pregnancy.
This includes other reason mentioned by the Takoradi police commander that for some number of years the Western Region has recorded some number of false kidnapping incident to make money out of ransoms, hence the reason the police service has to declare the kidnapping victim a suspect.
Following the press statement released by Ghana police service, resident and family of Josephine Payin Mensah has reacted angrily to the statement as they hit the street of Columbia a sub town in Takoradi with red head gears.
