Okyehene gives 200 acres of land to Work and Housing Mini to solve accommodation problems in Kyebi

Accommodation problem is a major concern bedeviling the country. Some find it difficult to rent a room or an apartment as the cost is mind boggling. It is so disheartening to see people sleeping in front of stores in Accra, Tema, Kumasi and other regional capitals as they find it difficult pay for the rent.

Okyenhene Amoatia Ofori Panin releases 200 acres of land to Work And Housing ministry for housing projects to improve standard of living in the rural communities especially in the eastern region. 

Okyenhene said Kyebi is facing housing problem therefore preventing Doctors, Teachers Nurses and other government official from accepting postings to go and work there. 

he challenged them to work diligently to improve the lives of Ghanaians. On his part the Managing Director for State Housing Company, Kwabena Ampofo Appiah said the exercise is taking place throughout the nation and every District will benefit from such project which he says is going to help every worker in every District to reduce workers accommodation problems when transferred those communities.
