March 15: World Consumer Rights Day Celebration

World Consumer Rights Day was motivated by President John F Kennedy, who sent a unique message to the US Congress on 15th March 1962, in which he officially tended to the issue of consumer rights. He was the first world leader to do as such.

This day is celebrated on the fifteenth of March each year to raise global mindfulness about consumer rights and needs. Celebrating the day is an opportunity to request that the rights of all consumers are regarded and secured and to challenge market misuses and social unjust acts which subvert those rights.

Since 1983, March 15 has been observed as World Consumer Rights Day. This is a chance to attract consideration every year to the basic privileges, everything being equal of consumers regarding their necessities and to ensuring them.

The theme of the World Consumer Rights Day in 2021 is the “tackling plastic pollution”.

World Consumer Rights Day: Slogan “You don't live to buy; you buy to live”.

Major factors that affect consumer behavior

1.Psychological (motivation, perception, learning, beliefs and attitudes)

2.Personal (age and life-cycle stage, occupation, economic circumstances, lifestyle, personality and self concept)

3.Social (reference groups, family, roles and status)

4.Cultural (culture, subculture, social class system).

Consumers are favoring balance between digital and physical shopping experiences. The definition of beauty is changing. Influencer marketing continues to be a strong factor. Eco-friendly products and packaging with low plastic content is helpful.

When you get out to buy today make it known to the seller that 15th March is special day for buyers like yourself. So, it is needful bonus or refreshment.
