On the 9th of Febuary 2021, a storm swept through the village and unfortunately for Madam Paulinah Doh, the eighty four years childless and disabled grandmother, her mud house was brought down.
According to her, she only managed to pick out some clothes, but all other belongings were trapped under the mud house. One should be grateful to God that she was not trapped under the building herself.
She currently survives on donations from her neighbours as she manages her kitchen as her dwelling place. She has lived at Avetakpo all her life and has nowhere to go.
She is calling for the government, philantropists and well wishers to come to her aid and help her get a decent place to live. She stated, ''I am suffering. My building has collapsed. I will be happy if I can be provided a befitting building and a kitchen,''.
Do you think NADMO can offer assistance in this case since it was a natural disaster?
