Student in JHS kills mother because of his missing memory card

A highschool boy has been convicted of killing his birth mother over the loss of his phone and memory card.

Emmanuel Gyan, a student, said that his 52-year-old mother stole his phone.

Emmanuel asked his mother about his missing phone and memory card, according to sources, and became enraged when he didn't get a satisfactory response.

Emmanuel, enraged, repeatedly struck his mother Faustina Agyeiwaa with a pestle on the head before she passed out.

The 17-year-old Junior High School student set his mother on fire in an effort to burn her.

On Monday, March 15th, 2021, at Wassa J.Y No.1 in the Sefwi Wiawso District, the barbaric act was said to have occurred.

Emmanuel was brought to the police station by his father, Isaac Somuah, with the assistance of one Stephen Amponsah, according to the Sefwi Wiawso Police.

Madam Faustina Agyeiwaa's corpse, on the other hand, has been deposited at the Bibiani Government Hospital mortuary, where it will be autopsied.
