The number of deaths that have been recorded this year is more as compared to last year. The rate of deaths are increasing in our communities and it is mostly through road accidents and armed robbers attacking civilians. But now, assailants are taking the lives of civilians by stabbing them to death.

However, Richard Kofi Appiah is 21 years old but a final year student of Oppong Memorial Senior High School at Kokofu near Bekwai in the Ashanti Region. He was attacked by an unknown assailants and stabbed in a struggle on Saturday evening. He was quickly rushed to the Bekwai government hospital for medical attention but unfortunately, he was confirmed dead at the hospital.

The residents of Adwumam in the Bosomtwe district visits Richard's family house and mourned with them.
The mother of the deceased, Florence Adomah said that, the police should identify and arrest the culprits for prosecution so the police are on a manhunt for the killers.
