"FixTheCountry" demonstration is currently ongoing at Takoradi, as it raises issues about Takoradi missing girls and how it was handled after years. This issue became a national issue but with years gone by people may begin to think this issue is dead, only for Ghanaians to be reminded of this by an aggrieved woman as part of the Takoradi Fix the country demonstration in an interview.
This woman reporting to 3News said; "It has been years now since these Takoradi girls went missing but we have heard nothing positive about this. Some said they were still alive, some said they were at the hospital, but now what is the result. Now they have all forgotten about it".
"I do not think Nana Akufo-Addo even remember this incident anymore. All because none of his family members were part of this. What will he have done if his child was part of these girls. None of his children are in Ghana not to talk of his grandchildren that is why when someone's child go missing he refuses to act"
"This is a very big problem for the respective families and that is why we are all out here today to make our voices heard. So that President Nana Akufo-Addo will help us fix our roads, create employment, and also make the economy better for us, Thank you".
