Just this dawn of saturday April 24,2021 at about 1:00 am a town in shama popularly called shama Kumasi did not hear a good news.
They woke up to hear the news of a murder case between a man believed to be in his 40's and his supposed girlfriend.
The man popularly known as "Papa gyebi" has divorced his wife in an uncomfortable situation as residents of Shama Kumasi have testified.
Papa gyebi operates a drinking bar and has been travelling to Tarkwa for getting new stocks of drink sometimes.
Residents say, they saw a certain lady who by her facial expression was feeling very shy in the town.Apparently, the lady was coming to visit Papa gyebi.
Residents said they heard shouting of "help..help he is killing me" emanating from Papa gyebi's room. All attempts to get the room opened to save the lady who is now deceased proved futile.
This morning, Saturday 24th April,2021 residents who were suspecious broke into Papa gyebi's room only to find the lady dead in a pool of blood.
Eye witnesses say they suspect the lady hit her heard on wall of Papa gyebi during the wtruggle and she fell unconscious and that was when Papa gyebi took advantage to kill the lady.The people of Shama kumasi said the man hit the lady's heard with hammer repeatedly to the extend that one could see her brains gushed out.
The deceased lady has since been taken to the Effia Nkwanta Regional hospital whiles the murderer, Papa Gyebi has been picked up by the Shama Police assisting investigations.
