The Dean of Students and the Mensah Sarbah hall master of the University of Ghana have been welcomed by the police to present their assertions to assist help with investigations concerning the case including a 24-year-old person who reportedly tumbled from the fourth floor of the Mensah Sarbah Hall Annex "A" last week.
The person in question, distinguished as Fuseini Wahab Abdul, who was taken to the Legon Hospital has since been moved to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Ridge, is as yet in an oblivious state. Fuseini who was known to be a percher jumped from the forth floor of the building to hide from authorities.
The Public Relations Officer of the Accra Regional Police Command, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mrs Effia Tenge said the police have effectively investigated a few people they distinguished as floor mates of the person in question.
She said at about 11:40 am last Friday (April 23, 2021) the Legon Police got a report that a man had hopped from the fourth floor of Mensah Sarah Hall Annex "A". At the point when the police went to the scene, the victim had been taken to the Legon Hospital. A group of specialists went to the Legon Hospital and discovered Abdul in basic condition receiving treatment.
The group, Mrs Tenge said, went to the scene where they discovered a dim spot stained by the blood of the casualty after he fell and supported wounds. Afterward, she said, crime location experts were welcomed from the CID Headquarters to deal with the scene to help examinations.
