The Founder and Leader of Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Dr Kofi Oduro has challenged the Inspector-General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare to reopen the murder case of Pastor Dan in Amasaman to prove he is just and lawful. According to Prophet Dr Oduro the Police have abandoned investigations for no apparent reason.
He alleged that the Amasaman Divisional Police have no element of evidence on their dockets about the case, adding that investigations were prematurely terminated. Prophet Dr Oduro stressed that such a case has left in its path, irreparable reputation damage to the Police.
The Prophet at today's service dared IGP Dampare to take up this case, and arrest and prosecute all those who were behind the murder of Pastor Dan. He intimated that Dr Dampare would be respected and trusted when that case and others including J.B Danquah Adu’s are solved.
In his view, there are persons in the Police service who have obstructed these investigations by discarding evidence that was found from the criminal investigation.
“Up till today, Amasaman Police has not given out a dossier on his death. If Dr Dampare wants to work, I take that to be a very good case study for him. Amasaman Police I am challenging you…there is no dossier about Pastor Dan’s death.
“You have nothing to show about what happened in that case. You took the case and threw it away. Just like that. And justice has not been served for the lost souls,” he emphasized.
Prophet Dr Oduro cried that Pastor Dan was murdered in cold blood and that even at his burial his church refused to honour his funeral. He indicated that the soul of the late Pastor shall not rest until justice is served.
He charged Dr Dampare to intervene and bring closure to this murder case and others so that the Police would be rewarded with the love and confidence of the people.
