The shootings of innocent civilians are becoming too rampant in this country. How can a gun be pointed in the sky for the bullet to kill someone walking on the ground? This seems to be a little bit strange. This same 'Kweku Ananse' story came up during the 2020 voters registration exercise in Kasoa where a supposed warning shot bullet landed in someone's store.
There is no more truth in this world. Nowadays walking by the roadside is even dangerous because a strange bullet from nowhere can just kill a person like that. This is the sad incident Michael Darko, popularly known in Awutu Bereku as "Koby The Fresh Boy". Reports from Awutu Bereku indicate that he was accidentally shot at the durbar grounds during a performance of rituals.
The 9-year-old boy was celebrating his birthday on Monday, 30th August 2021 when this sad incident happened to him. His mother, Hanna Aidoo believes that her son was accidentally shot on that day but some Ghanaians after listening to how the accident happen do not believe that it was accidental. They argued that most of the guns display on such occasions are warning shot in the sky. So how can a warning shot kill an innocent boy?
Check out some of the reactions from some Ghanaians after coming across this sad news:
