An ugly incident occurred around midnight yesterday, January 6th, 2022 involving Jamaican dancehall musician, Popcaan at a famous bar in East Legon, Ghana. Unconfirmed reports claim a band of criminals stormed the club and attempted to rob the Jamaican superstar but his personal security and swift response from the Ghana Police Service intervened.
Footages that surfaced online saw a group of angry looking men forcing their way through into the club and pointing fingers at Popcaan. Next frame saw the police at the scene trying to bring order to the place by firing live shots in the area to scare away the attacker's. A young man was seen in handcuffs and being forced out of the club with Popcaan being escorted out with maximum security guarding him into his car to drive away. Other reports suggests there was a gunfight between the police and the robbers and three of the robbers were gunned down as they refused to cease fire.
