The murders are too much and also getting out of hand because humans are heartless. Sometimes, the little act we portray paves way for criminals to do whatever they like to us. However, how can you look at a 10-year old little girl who is not matured in what she is doing and inflict machete wounds on her neck. The most shocking and painful thing is that, it is not a stranger who wounded the young girl but a family member who is known to be the uncle of the girl.
The girl's uncle, Nana Yaw claims, the children in the house always make in front of his door dirty so he warned his nephew not to sit with her friends at his doorstep anymore. The girl failed to obey and invited her friends to play in front of the door when he wasn't around. When he returned from town, he met the children playing in front of his door with his nephew so he sacked the children and they left.
Out of anger, Nana Yaw entered his room and took a sharpened machete and created a deep wound on his nephew's neck and escaped. The residents rescued the girl and rushed her to the Winneba Trauma and special hospital but the doctor said she might be affected because some of her veins have been cut off.
The 10-year old girl is now battling for life at the Winneba Trauma and special hospital. This incident occurred at Gomoa Dego in the West district of the Central Region on Monday, September 6, around 4:30pm
