Update on KNUST lecturer accused of Kidnapping

KNUST lecturer Dr. Wilberforce Nkrumah Aggrey who is accused of playing a role in the disappearance of his wife, Rhodaline Amoah-Darko, a Senior Lands Administrative Officer at the Kumasi office of the Lands Commission, was today arranged before the Kumasi High Court after fresh charges of deceit of a public officer at the Asokwa District Court.

After Rhodaline Amoah-Darko went missing on August 30, 2021, Dr. Aggrey has been in police custody since October 6, 2021.

A Teaching Assistant at KNUST, Yaw Owusu Ababio, was today called upon as a witness. Yaw is the State prosecutor's second witness after Isaac Offei Aduamah ( an associate of the lecturer) who mounted the box earlier in May.

The Prosecutor seems to have other witnesses who shall be called upon in due time and hopes to put this case to bed soon, as the court is expected to reconvene on June 23, 2022.

More update on this issue shall continuously be brought forth. Any one with information on the case should please contact the numbers on the image

Kindly share your thoughts, thank you
