Another breaking news shared by Okay Fm this morning concerning 10 suspected illegal miners who have been declared wanted for years finally have been arrested. According to the report by Okay Fm correspondent these illegal miners were arrested at Atwima Mponua.
The journalist reveals that from the beginning they suspected DCE Isaac Kofi Marfo was the one who brought these Togolese to work on the Offin river but upon further investigation and interview by Kwame Sefa Kayi they realized DCE Isaac Kofi Marfo knows nothing about the illegal mining going on in that area.
The help of the DCE brought another task force to pursue these illegal miners and finally, they were able to arrest 10 of them.
Illegal mining according to the president has destroyed most of our lands and rivers. Due to this, he set a campaign against illegal mining activities in the country (Galamsey). It is so obvious that people have decided to disobey the laws of government. Thanks to the task force for doing great work.
