Fulani Herdsman Butchers Young Famer At Gomoa Potsin

  Fulani Herdsman is reported to have Butchered a young farmer At Gomoa Potsin in the Central Region of Ghana.

According to the young farmer; Samuel Frimpong popularly known as Kwaku Frimpong does construction for a living and owns a cassava farm at his place of stay.

According to him, whiles he was away on an errand, cows guided by a Fulani herdsman stormed his farm and destroyed his cassava crops, as they fed on many of them.

When he went to the farm to check for himself upon hearing the information, he saw the animals eating his crops and an attempt to send the animals away led to an attack on his life by the herdsman.

He told Angel news reporter Opanyin Darko that, it was his own brother who told him about the assailants in his farm and how they threatened him with a cutlass on the first day and therefore decided to go and verify for himself hence his predicament.

He continued that after witnessing the incident he tried to call on the herdsman to come and see what the animals have done to his plantation but suddenly, he slashed him with a cutlass.

“Some people who heard my lament came to my rescue" he said. He revealed that the Fulani herdsman has been arrested following a medical report.

Samuel Frimpong is receiving treatment at the Gomoa Potsin hospital whiles police commence investigation.

Gomoa Dominase District police command has not comment about the unfortunate incident.
