22yrs Old KNUST Medical Student Who Died After Leg Amputation And Over 16 Surgeries Sadly Buried

Fourth year medical student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Miss Rita Adjoa Tawiah Adoboe has been buried at the Holy Child Park in Cape Coast.

Few months ago, Rita and her family came out with a public petition to help her undergo over 16 surgical processes costing over one million Ghana Cedis. Some prominent Ghanaians like Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang tweeted for people to support the family.

Although all the 16 surgical processes became successful after payment of one million Ghana Cedis, doctors had to amputate Rita to sustain her life. This was done as donors thanked God for saving her life after going under the knife on 16 different times.

Unfortunately, Rita reportedly started having some aftermath complications leading to her untimely death at the age of 22. Her death became a heartbreaking news to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Medical school.

Her family had lost a treasure. With her dream of becoming a Medical doctor cut short, Rita is under rest with the Lord. May the good lord keep her soul.
