IGP Akuffo-Dampare Has Proven that the Laws in Ghana is a Respecter of No Man. Keep it Up, Sir.

There is no way one can trivialize the work of the acting Inspector General of Police- George Akuffo-Dampare. Indeed, since his announcement as the acting IGP, he has proven that he is fit for the work and he has also worked in many ways that prove that he can bring some sanity to the system.

One impressive move that he has done is his ability to arrest the Rev. Owusu Bempah and arraign him before the court in spite of his strong contact with the president. I mean it is no news that Rev. Owusu Bempah is a friend of the president and the President has visited his church a couple of times. He gives election prophecies to Ghanaians and it appears he can utter who wins by communicating with God.

This has won him the name and arrogance. So, he thought he can do anything and go free. However, the only IGP with a PhD- Akuffo-Dampare has proven that the law is a respecter of no man. No person is above the law. This will extend some information to all others who think they can massage the law enforcers in their favour.

In this recent serial killings and crimes in Ghana, it is important that the IGP continue this move till the message is clear out there. The Police should incessantly follow the law and make it obvious to the public that all offenders of the law will diligently face the punishment attribute to their offence. It is time Ghana develops its reputation again and Acting IGP- Dr George Akuffo-Dampare is hitting the nail head-on.

Kudos sir, you’ve our full support.
