The Ministry of Highways acting through the department of urban roads wishes to inform the general public and road users of that there will be some interruption to flow of traffic within Darkuman and its environments for a period of one month starting today to 12th November, 2021. This interruption will be done each day from 8am to 5pm.
The affected roads in the region include, Osakuma Street around Darkuman circle station and also Korlegon street, around Demod area.
The ministry wants to the inform the public that, the main purpose for this development is to enable Gridco undertake stringing of transmission line conductors across the roads.
All road users especially persons in the Greater Accra region of Ghana are to take note of this and use other means or other routes to reach their destinations.
It is the mandate responsibility for GRIDCO to carry out the business of economic dispatching and transmission of electricity from facilities of wholesale suppliers to bulk customers or distribution companies and utilities in Ghana and West Africa without discrimination.
Mr. James Amoo- Gottfried is the current acting Director for the department or urban roads in Ghana.
