Police Places ¢10k Bounty On Thugs Who Attacked Ada Radio Station on Thursday

The Ghana Police Service has issued a notice to the general public to help them attain some information that may lead to the arrest of some thugs that destroyed the premises of Ada Radio Station on Thursday.

The Police is ready to give any person who gives credible information that will lead to the arrest of suspects who vandalised Ada Radio station on Thursday, 13th January, 2022. The said amount is 10,000 cedis reward to the citizen or group that may help.

The police are not only putting the work on the public as they are also working hard to bring the suspects to book.

The Police has assured all stakeholders in this issue that, it will do it's best to bring the suspects to book. By so doing, the Ghana Police has place a bounty of ten thousand Ghana cedis to anyone who brings to the police key information that can lead to the arrest of persons that attacked the radio station. The situation that happened at the radio station is classified to be a criminal one and the police cannot let go off this case. They are therefore calling for public help.

This comes after thugs attacked the premises of Radio Ada, a community radio station at Ada. The incident is reported to have occurred in the morning. The reports indicate that the thugs, numbering about 10, destroyed equipment and furniture in some of the station’s offices and manhandled two staff members over the content aired on one of the station’s programmes.
