You Will Go Down In History As The Worse IGP In Ghana Police Service If You Don't Up Your Game

Yayra Koku, a popular NDC activist, has asserted that, if the current Inspector General Of Police (IGP) don't up his game, he will go down in history as the worse IGP in Ghana Police Service. His comments comes as a background to the death of Albert Donkor in the hands of the police at Nkoranza.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Wednesday, 18th May, 2022, Yayra Koku wrote;

"Dear IGP, you will go down in history as the worse IGP in the Ghana Police Service if you dont up your game. I don't want to believe you are covering up for the police officers who are alleged to have killed this man. If the JOB is hard for you, PLEASE RESIGN."

"I was one of the people who thought the new IGP would bring professionalism to the Ghana Police Service, but I didn't know he would promote unprofessionalism like this. You have lost your credibility Mr IGP, and if care is not taken, you will go down in history as the worse IGP ever. Yayra Koku continued in a separate post.

"Look at this. And I'm told one person died because of this.

Dear IGP, Albert was killed because rumour has it that he saw some police officers engaged in the armed robbery. Please, Ghanaians are not going to accept this unprofessional policing, the NDC activist alleged.

We need JUSTICE for Albert, Yayra Koku demanded.
