Painful Exit. Fire Service Officer Lost His Life In A Rescue Mission.

Assistant station officer Joseph Aidoo at Agona Swedru Fire Service in the Central Region has lost his life trying to save three persons from drowning in a well at Gomoa Obuasi in Central Region.

It is said that the three persons who fell in the well were working on it and mistakenly fell inside and the community members called the fire service for help to save lives.

However, officer Joseph Aidoo of the fire service who wanted to be their savior of the three victims was trapped in the water and got drowned in the process lost his life. The three persons were removed from the well and are currently under treatment at Agona Swedru hospital.

This is a painful exit as the savior has rather lost his life trying to rescue others.

Benjamin Kojo Otoo, the District Chief Executive Officer (DCE) paid a visit to the family to console them. He said the officer died as a hero and will be giving a befitting burial.
