'I Didn't Sent My Son To The Farm' - Mother Cries Over Saboba Drowning

The news which has gotten the whole country into undesirable mood for a couple of days is the drowning of nine students after returning form their headmaster's farm. According to the report, the headmaster of Charles Junior High School (JHS) of Saboba in the Northern Region sent thirty one students to his farm to help in his farm activities. The students upon coming drown in a river after the canoe transporting them capsized of which twenty two students were able to swim for their lives leaving the nine students drown.

The family of these deceased people are in shock after hearing the death of their beloved family members. Mother of one student mourning her son said, "I don't have a girl child, is my son who does everything for me. I sent my son to school not to the farm".

Another father also says, he does not know what to do now because his son that he believes in him is gone in just a second. We send our condolences to the entire family of these deceased people. We say may their soul rest in perfect peace.
