Some residents of Sunyani have refused to visit surrounding chop bars due to the fear of been served with human flesh.
The fear of the residence is premised on the recent Abisem murder where a suspect by the name Richard Appiah murdered two children aged 12 and 25 and put their remains in a fridge.
The remains of these children were cut into pieces sparking fear in the community.
This is what has caused the fear for some residents to go to their usual chop bars to enjoy their favorite local means.
A resident by the name Akwesi shared the reason why people are scared to go to the chop bar
“We can’t go to the restaurants and the chop bars, we can guarantee the type of meat that will be served. We are scared”
The Police recently accompanied the suspect to an unknown location to discover the intestines of one of the children.
The police is still investigating the issue to ensure justice is served.
