The woman accused of faking her kidnapping and pregnancy in Takoradi is expected to appear before the Takoradi Circuit Court today.
According to the Police, Josephine Panyin will reappear before Court today after confessing that, she was not pregnant as she claimed earlier.
Police investigations has revealed that, the accused is never a pregnant woman contrary to claims by her.
Madam Josephine Panyin confessed to Police investigators that, she was faking her pregnancy to the husband and other family members for 9 Months.
She was wearing a silicon rubber to make her appear as a pregnant woman.
She has been accused of faking her kidnapping to the Police by using her phone to make a call for ransome from her kidnappers.
If found guilty, she will be charged for deceiving the Police and also for abetment of crime.
The case has sparked public discussions about the truth of reported kidnappings in recent times, especially in the Takoradi area and the Western Region.
