At this juncture, the majority of the citizenry thinks that things are not going on well about the policies of the government which has generated a lot of controversies. Initially, E-levy was introduced and the impression created was that it would solve greater problems in the country.
Road tolls were abolished and Ghanaians never thought that they could be brought back. Politicians in this administration in time past created the impression that seeking financial assistance from IMF wasn't going to happen. In the long run, that decision was rescinded and currently, deliberations have ended or are ongoing.

Just this afternoon, the finance minister declared on the floor of Parliament that new roads will be tolled much to the surprise of many Ghanaians.
The inconsistencies with some government's policy implementations are what some Ghanaians have described as 'total confusion.' On Facebook, the reaction to the government tolling new roads was massive. Below are some comments from Socialites
