A heavy duty truck from Burkina Faso in the North of Ghana through Wa to Accra has Somersaulted close to the Wa Airport road.
The Vehicle is owned by Ed Van Rooijen Transport Company.
The Truck which carried over 100 bags of Cashew seeds veered off the road after taking a sharp curve which resulted in the load balancing to the right of the vehicle and over weighing the truck, this resulted in the vehicle with Registration number 10 JL 5390 BF falling off the road.
The Driver and Mate who only speak Mossi Language were rushed by nearby residents to the Upper West Regional Hospital for Medical Checkups.
Eyewitness by name Aisha who was selling tiger nuts by the roadside stated that the vehicle was parked by the road and later took off slowly towards Wa township, later she saw the truck fall off the road.
People have since rushed to the scene to witness the situation for themselves.
Police have also visited the scene to access the magnitude of the accident and causes of it.
