A heavy downpour on Saturday left many parts of Cape Coast and it's environs flooded. According to a rescue team, the unfortunate incident occurred when some children were crossing a big gutter in the area but unfortunately for Abigail Kakraba who happened to be the youngest among those crossing. She slipped off and fell into the gutter where she got carried away by the high speed of the water.
"We searched Abigail for almost three hours but we could not find her so we poured libation to ask the gods to help us find her. We later found her but this Time around, it was her lifeless body". A member of the rescue team told reporters.
