4 Civilians Arrested At Liberia Camp

Last three (3) months, The Gomoa East District and Fetteh Chiefs made an announcement to the residence of Buduburam on their intention to demolish the refugee's camp for redevelopment.

Finally, the demolition date is set and it is on Thursday (tomorrow), September 30, 2021.

The residence claimed that, the authorities at the assembly and government are not being fair because if they demolish the camp, there have no where to seek greener pastures.

As a result, the residence rebelled by beginning to spark an unlawful demonstration against tomorrow's exercise.

The residence went to the extreme of surrounding the Buduburam police station to protest on the planned exercise and when the police attempted to grab them, they started running helter skelter.

The police were able to arrest four (4) of the civilians in the process of running and they are in the police custody right now.

The four (4) civilians were arrested today, September 29.
