In this article am to present to you the death of our dancehall artist who was died in the month of February. Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, known by her stage name Ebony Reigns, was a Ghanaian dancehall and afrobeat artist who was known for her hit songs "Poison" and "Kupe" . She was discovered by bullet from Ruff n Smooth. She started her basic education at Seven Great Princess Academy in Dansoman, before going to Methodist Girls High School at Mamfe in the Akuapim North District of the Eastern Region.
Ebony Reigns was born on February 16, 1997 to Nana Poku Kwarteng am Beatrice Oppong Marthin. Ebony Reigns died on February 6, 2018 at bechem government hospital. Ebony Reigns die for horrific in a road accident which happens on Thursday evening at Sunyani - Kumasi road. She died with her assistant and longtime friend Franklina Yaa Nkansah Kuri and soldier Atsu Vondee in the fatal accident.
After Ebony Reigns death, controversies became rampant and the country was divided into many passive factions. There were those that believed that it could have been prevented if roads were properly constructed and adequately lighted. The road she was travelling on that fateful night was in a very bad state.
