For sometime now, the issues of gender based violence has been on the rise across the country. And mostly the victims of these issues are mostly women, where some of them are either killed or tortured.
Today, the sad news coming from Wassa Amenfi East municipality in the Western south region of Ghana is that a man named Kwesi Fori, who is 40 years old has shot his 38 years old wife called Abena to death. It was reported that the two of them have been married for 25 years.
According Angel Fm’s mid day news dubbed “Orgasm News”, the woman was sick and was receiving treatment at another village, so her husband came to visit her. And during the visit, he has a quarrel with his wife’s parents and so the woman came to settle it and tried to escort her husband to his village. And so on their way, he shot her and run away.
