Reports from several media house indicates that, some street lights and crash barriers at the new Pokuase Interchange has been stolen by some unknown persons. The Ghana Police are currently making various investigations to bring suspects to book.
However, some Ghanaians have really showed concern about this matter and have reacted accordingly. Below are some comments on social media about this thievery incidence.
There is one question that keep rolling and repeating from the comments. Ghanaians wants to know the various CCTV cameras which have been installed by the government. They want to know if the cameras were not working at that time or there were no cameras on that stretch.
Aside this, this bad behavior on the part of some Ghanaians is very shameful. How can a national property be stolen like that. The Pokuase Interchange was recently commissioned and now parts are been taken away.
Some of reactions laments that, the whole country wants the country to be fixed by the government. However, the government tries fixing various issues and yet some persons will just be destroying them.
There is the need for high security to avoid these from happening. There is also the need for some Ghanaians to fix their attitude. The nation will not prosper if there is no cooperation between government and the citizens.
