“We are sorry”:Ghana Police Service apologise to the Media.

Ghana police service has released a press statement to render apology to the journalism association.

Why the apology ?

Members of Glorious Word Power Ministry prevented some journalists from filming Rev. Owusu Bempah when he arrived at the court premise for his trial.

The congregations also used force and violent means to prevent the journalists from entering the court premises.

Some journalists also sustained severe injury due to the violence action the sympathisers used against them.

As a result, the Police association has apologize to the journalists who were at the court and urged to arrest the culprits for immediate prosecution and they also aim at bonding the Media-police relationship.

It has earlier been reported that Rev. Owusu Bempah was arrested and persecuted for alledly assaulting a police officer and brandishing of weapon in a viral video.
