Public Urinals, Close Down At Accra

Ghanaians always cries and pleads to the government for social amenities but when given to them, they don't take good care of it.

However, An inspection was conducted on Wednesday, October 13 at the Kwame Nkrumah interchange, Kaneshie and Ordorkor lorry park in Accra.

The inspection was conducted by Accra Metropolitan Authority’s (AMA’s) Public Health Inspectors.

During the inspection, the health inspectors found a public urinal in the yard.

The public urinal produced bad and offensive odour which could have lead to the outbreak of disease.

A garage was nearby the public urinal and it contained a smelly rubbish.

In order to prevent any disease outbreak such as cholera and others, the Accra Metropolitan Authority’s Public Health Inspectors closed down the public urinals due to the insanitary conditions around the place.

The public urinal was closed down on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
