Ghanaians have been thrown into dismay after series of crime continue to shoot up in recent days. It was reported that a soldier was short dead-on Friday night. The report which was published by myjoyonline.com confirmed that the Sgt. Odei Job Kwame was traveling to Yeji on 21st may 2021. On the way his car run into high way rubbers who were operating on the Prang-Kintampo road. They asked him to stepdown, beat him up and eventual kill him when he was trying to escape from them. Yeji District Police Commander DSP Eric Awiadem confirmed this incident to the media. On the more sadden note the robbers escaped before the police go to the scene.
Another terrible piece of information that has made its way into the public is that a head teacher was shot and killed in his car by unknown gunmen.
A headteacher was shot and killed in his residence in Cape Coast, Central Region, by unknown assailants. Mr. Yaw Eyifa Gorman, also known as Dr. Sting, was shot in his car on Saturday evening after returning home from a census training. The incident, which occurred about 7:40 p.m., has caused anxiety in the house, according to the deceased's co-tenant, because the headmaster was shot in the compound of his own home.
He claimed that they heard a gunshot and raced outside to see what it was, only to discover that their colleague had been killed
