70- year-old Madam Veronica Yaa Owusua was buried today. Her burial service was very special as his son, Honorable Martin Adjei Korsah, who is the member of Parliament for the Techiman constituency, was affiliated to the ruling, New Patriotic Party. That one aside, his role to the development of the country as a deputy Minister commanded the presence of bigwigs in the New Patriotic Party.
That notwithstanding, it came as a surprise when Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was spotted at the burial service which was held at the Roman Catholic Cathedral at Techiman. He came along with his wife, Samira Bawumia. See photos.
The cathedral was filled to the brim. This is no news since the person involved, The Late Madam Veronica Yaa Owusua, had produced a great man for the nation and will be instrumental in his role at the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Decentralization.
Rest in Peace.
