Dampare Has His Eyes Everywhere; Prophets, Musicians, And Public Figures Won't Be Spared

The Inspector-General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare has by far signalled to every Ghanaian especially prophets, musicians and public figures that he will not circumvent the laws for any favours or submit to pressure from any authority. With the law backing him fully as the head of the Ghana Police Service Dr Dampare remains powerful to enforce compliance and order in the country.

It appears he has widen the investigative binoculars of the Police service and focusing on every activity across platforms. From physical engagements, social media and traditional media, Dr Dampare appears to have an eye monitoring Evey single activity to arrest any person who falls foul of the law.

By far, you may consider the arrest of prophets such as Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah, Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah alias Sofo Ahuofe, Charles Nii Armah Mensah alias Shatta Wale, and recently Samuel Adu Frimpong alias Medikal, could be described as scapegoats to prove how powerful Dr Dampare is, and the extent to which he could sanction authorities and ordinary Ghanaians when the law catches up with them.

None of these people were spared for threatening public safety with their words, and actions. It is beleived that his teammif investigators are very much active on all social networks, media, and gatherings monitoring every single activity by the citizenry.

Gone where the days where people cold prophesy deaths, threaten physical abuse, brandish weapons, and do all manner of unlawful behaviours in public. Today, you dare not try.

IGP Dampare is by these arrests signalling to other groups and persons that there would be no escape for those who fall on his radar. You surely will be smoked out when you commit an offence.

In th past months, several criminal cases some of which are misdemeanor are being prosecuted in the court. Stunts, misinformation and alarm which you could have been pardoned for, are given a stern attention and this should inform you that other serious crimes as murder, suicide, theivery, robbery and vandalism will not go unpunished.

On the roads, drivers are monitored through the CCTV systems. The police patrols on the streets and in our communities have been given a boost and this should instil some confidence in the security arrangements out in place by the Police.
