It was a sad news when it was announced that police Inspector General Abednego Kofie Kachire is dead. Chief Inspector Abednego Kofie Kachire died when he was escorting the Current Speaker Parliament Honourable Alban Bagbin. The news related to death of Chief Inspector Abednego Kofie Kachire raised a lot of argument on social media on Government officials cannot move without police escort.
This morning 2nd October 2021 around 5:30am, the family members of Chief Inspector Abednego Kofie Kachire announced his funeral rite. As costum and tradition demands; the family members of the late Inspector Abednego Kofie Kachire stated that, their beloved will be laid to rest on 30th October Saturday 2021. It will take place at National Police training school - Tesano at exactly 7:00am. However, his dead body will be conveyed to the Oti Region Kete - Krachi for the official Burial.
Thanks Giving service will be done at the Church of Pentecost Achimota Central. This is the sad news issued by the family members today to the public. We are of the view that, Honourable Alban Bagbin will see this notice as well.
