There have not been a single day that Ghanaians have not commented or reacted to certain matters which they aren’t comfortable with. It is a normal thing in Ghana to voice out on certain dissatisfaction and matters which they aren’t very happy about. A recent comment after the burial of Sir John of the new patriotic party has gone viral as some Ghanaians criticize.
Sir John has been laid to rest and this has become one of the saddest moments in the lives of members of his family as well as the new patriotic party. Sir John was an active Npp member and a very lively individual whose death came as a big blow and shocked the entire country. The country was flooded with sad Ghanaians who had no idea that this would happen.
The grave yard of the late Sir John was seen to be a nicely built house where he was buried in hopes to remember the great man. However, the beauty of this simply built house has caused massive stir as many Ghanaians deem it as unnecessary and hence shouldn’t have been built in that manner. There were many contemplations and reactions from social media as supporters and backlashers react to this.
The comments about this is that this house was built to burry a person who is not among the living whiles people who are very much alive struggle to have a place to sleep. This is a very emotional issue and that is why many people have commented on this and asked that these backlashers should be a little sensitive with these comments because this is not the first time this is happening.
Social media is flooded with this and it gets bigger by the hour. Do you think such burial practices should be continued or be considered and aborted? Comment below.
