On the 18th of May 2020, a sad incident occurred after a 14-year old final year BECE candidate of Miracle Junior High School (JHS) was found dead in the School’s dining hall which was deemed to be an alleged suicide after she was found hanged.

The deceased who has been identified as Leticia Piniman Kyere was bumped into by her colleagues at the dinning hall of the school hanged from the School’s ceiling as reported.
The Father of the deceased who goes by the name, Williams Kyere has finally broke his silence over her daughter’s demise after his wife and elderly daughter came out to debunked the rumors of Leticia’s suicide.
According to Mr Williams Kyere speaking on Atinka FM’s AM drive, he disclosed that the supposed suicide note believed to have been written by her late daughter was nowhere to be found when the family viewed the body of the deceased.
”When we went to see the hanged body of my late daughter, the alleged suicide note deemed to have been written by her was missing but surprisingly, the house Mistress of the school brought the acclaimed note together with two exercises books belonging to my daughter to the Police station as she claimed that the exercise books was found together with the suicide note at the scene”
“This apparently shows that there is more to my daughter’s demise and we need a clear explanation from the school authority” Father of Leticia told the program host, Ofori Anim.
Miracle Junior High School is a preparatory school located at the Bono region of Ghana, Sunyani in Barkonabia.
