Meanwhile, Mr Emmanuel P. Acheampong said, a record of 82 road accident was recorded from January to March in 2021, which about 35 people lost their lives in the Bono East Region.
According to him, the Bono East Regional Directorate of National Road Safety Authority has done a lot to reduce road accident in the Region.
The National Road Safety Authority must ensure that road users get enough education on how to use the roads. Commercial drivers must be taught the dangers involved when over speeding or do over taking without thinking of the harm it could bring to them.
They must also check for those who are under the influence of alcohol when driving on the road and sure that drivers obey road signs.
